What It Does

The Video section lets you add a video to your store.

How to Add It

1. In the Shopify theme editor, click Add section.

2. Search for "Video".

3. Click the section to add it to your page.

4. Adjust the settings described below.

Settings

Image height (desktop)

Controls the height of this element. Choose from: Small, Medium, Large.

Image height (mobile)

Controls the height of this element. Choose from: Small, Medium, Large.

Layout

Controls the Layout. Choose from: Full width, Fit to width.

Video type

Controls the Video type. Choose from: Shopify, Embed video from URL.

Enable loop

When enabled, displays this element. Disable to hide it.

Cover

Heading

The title text displayed in the video.

Cover image

Upload an image.

Horizontal alignment

Controls the text alignment.

Vertical alignment

Controls the Vertical alignment. Choose from: Top, Center, Bottom.

Embed video from URL

Shows when no Shopify-hosted video is selected.

Video URL

Enter a YouTube or Vimeo URL for the video.

Describe the video for customers using screen readers. Learn more.

Shopify hosted video

Video

Selects a video to display.

Appearance

Heading font size

Controls the text size. Choose from: Heading 6, Heading 5, Heading 4, Heading 3, Heading 2, Heading 1.

Play button size

Controls the Play button size.

Overlay opacity

Controls the transparency level.

Color scheme

Applies a predefined color scheme to this element.

Color schemes are sets of coordinated colors you define under Theme settings > Colors. Choosing a scheme applies its background, text, and accent colors.

Button color scheme

Controls the Button color scheme. Choose from: Primary, Secondary.
